Re: Are there any dogs here?

They have been added, and you can check them out on https://onetech.info!

https://onetech.info/versions/139

Edit: Or are you looking to get away from the doggies? Can't help you there.

They're not dogs, they do nothing but occupy tile space, they're like cats in dogs clothing

Lets take care of clutter by making sure there are no tiles left to make clutter.

Re: Are there any dogs here?

I just lived 2 lives in 2 cities full of dogs and I do not see any use ... they only eat meat and occupy spaces, apart from being annoying and not letting work ... to top it off I was bitten by a pit bull ... they are totally useless or I have not known how to observe the work they do ?, or can you do something with them? ... Right now I see them as a tool for griefers, just that ...

Breed wolves instead of dogs. Dump the unwanted puppies in a trash pit and keep the wolf instead. Wolf hats for everyone!

Re: Are there any dogs here?

I took some dogs out to a bear, they occupy them.
The dogs were moving at the bear, the bear was moving at the dogs, but neither of them hurt the other. The dogs just danced with the bear and I walked away, unpursued.
So, if you are going to make use of dogs, having a few on the outskirts of your town where the bear caves are wouldn't hurt.

But of course they won't stay there, people will go to "check on them" and they will follow that person home a ways, then wander about.

So semi-tamed wolves aren't shootable. Do not breed wolves. Do not breed pitbulls. I was going to try farming wolf hats but obviously that plan failed so I moved onto plan B: A pit full of pitbulls. Honestly do not recommend at all.

Seriously dogs are totally useless? they are not good at all? there must be something else, something that we have not seen yet
right now the big cities are chaotic because of the dogs !!

Re: Are there any dogs here?

Science requires blood.

In all seriousness I had a safe walkway made but someone yanked up the northern most piece of my walkway (where that pitbull above the flat stone is) and I had to make a choice whether to chance running or die in the pen. Turns out my little legs were slower than an angry pitbull.

DUMB DOGS ... the worse game implementations. If you're going to make the game lag, at least have it lag with useful additions.

Tarr, a semi tame wolf i put in a pen reverted back into wolf, dont know if it was because i fed it or because of time, then someone shot it with an arrow, so wolf hat farm is possible

Dont know if its a bug tho

I fear this is the experience of my next 10 or so lives; having to be glad the place has no dogs.

Yeah between the time of when I actually tested it and onetech updating it doesn't seem they normally turn back to a normal wolf. I'm hoping that this gets fixed as renewable wolves would make the viability of colder cities go up.

Though I'm going to avoid breeding wolves until either they go back to a normal state or they are shootable in their semi-tame state as leaving a bunch of wolves in a pen/around town would lead to a lot of problems.

Thank you for the heads up, I do appreciate knowing that it is possible even if it doesn't seem like a normal outcome.
