would it be possible to build a personal room for a kid
with different food types, one each, for example with pits and a locked door
you would just eat it in the order, get all the bonus and not eat at all afterwards?
would it work sponging for yum bonus?
or at least make feeding stations on corner of city and put a few different food types on it?

Playing OHOL optimally is like cosplaying a cactus: stand still and don't waste the water.

I like the idea !, but you need an advanced civilization and several people working on the project (chefs, builders, nannies) ...
and you already know that when a civilization advances a lot, griefers, assassins, lazy ...
more than an experiment would be a challenge! jejejej

I don't think a yum room is going to work unless you're playing with a group of people. Any time I've spent the time to make a full set of yum pies some monkey comes over and takes full pies instead of just taking bites. However, if you're going to make a yum room you probably want to fill it with things than can't be jammed into a backpack. The only thing is even with so many foods around a person you have to hope they're smart enough to take bites instead of ramming the first thing into their mouth repeatedly.
fug it’s Tarr.

My typical game lately if born into a town that is doing well is: Work the farms until my bar is big enough to warrant bigger food (this includes all the watering, helping assemble compost ingredients, feeding sheep, passing bowls of berries to the pie maker to mix things up when we have a glut). Later I'll assist on other farms for carrots firstly then milkweed and stew, this will go on until I have a good sized natural bar then: a trip around all food types I can find until my bonus is at least 6 - 8x if possible (+ around 5 or 6 boxes) and off into the wilderness where wild carrots, onions and burdock will stack me up a bit further and fill me up while on my travels. I'll usually be looking for other settlements, iron deposits, wild milkweed to make ropes and fill my cart with 4 baskets of goodies to take back. I'll probably arrive back in town with a lot of nice bonuses for them to waste on making a hat in a desert biome, knives or bows to kill each other with etc but hey
They yum means i spend far less time eating or frantically reaching for a berry and far more time doing fun/productive stuff, the more food variety in a small area the better!
