Discussion: more content instead of bug fixes and noob fixes?

Its nice and all that we get optimizations but i miss new stuff
new gameplay mechanics, some new ways to do things
it was so long ago that we got new food types and they aint realy my thing, still i tried most of them

Playing OHOL optimally is like cosplaying a cactus: stand still and don't waste the water.

Yeah, this has been really tough for me to balance.

Hard to work on new content when the servers are on fire and everyone is lagging out all the time.

And this stuff takes a ton of time.  Server optimization is hard.

Re: Discussion: more content instead of bug fixes and noob fixes?

we just need some stuff
each week, not 100 but like 10 new items

broken tools shouldnt go into thrash pit
bacon from pork, or should be able to cook it entirely turning over ashes
animals should destroy crops
some new clothing, like wool backpack, painting more colors, yellow, or mix two colors or more
picking berry easier
something big and costly, people just murder cause nothing to do, some team project
planting trees was big on list, guess that would be harder
berry should die out after 5 time fixing it, then we could cut it for kindling
making ropes easier
cheaper letters
cheaper, longer fences
all seeds go into bowls

there are smaller stuff which could make the gameplay better
i get that new players needed better tutorial
but we need some content
lag is not that bad, kinda disconnects are more often, limit family sizes a bit and give a little love to temperature bonuses
or a basic clothing which can be easily done

Pein believe me, it is preferable that Jason solve the performance of the servers before placing new content ...

If we have a good base and well-optimized servers, you can place all the content of the world ... but if the servers have problems, the content has to be measured with great care and sometimes it stops placing good content because it does not have a good base

A harvest or some other kind of festival would be cool.  Or maybe some kind of religion...
