order of tools?

so the common order ppl make things in is

axe > hoe > shovel and then things get complicated from there

whats the general order yall follow from there?

i go with

adze > froe > chisel > file blank > blade blank (for saw)

and then after the carts and sheep i make knife. not sure if there are more efficient orders to go by. lmk if there is a better way to be doing things

I do shovel before hoe
And i make three blades at once for the shears

does that generally turn out better? i find that while im getting sheep (usually gen 3/4) n such my family run out of nearby dirt and just stop watering the berries n then starve (thats why i like carts first so i can move lots of dirt to the farm at a time before leaving for sheep)

hammer, axe, shovel
wait with the hoe, hoe is 4th, if fast enough you can make pen and people use the stone hoe, if you only got 3 iron shovel much more important
you can always find a rope but water runs out you are screwed, also stumps are great source of kindling, you can make secodn kiln digging the tule stumps

adze froh chisel file saw for buckets, carts and mines
so then pickaxe, shears, lock and key, kraut board

at least one set of arrows and a file locked up can be good

knifes on the open bad idea, only one knife bad idea, havent tested yet but only the last wound matters, so stabbing someone then healing him can heal bow shots and snake bites

I make hammer first.

Usually, food is running out by now and depending on whether we A.) have enough water, if not I’ll make a shovel for wells, or B.) make a bow if were good on water. I’ll make n axe after that, then file, adze, froe, shears, knife, saw, chisel. I’ve noticed towns getting sheep ASAP lately which is pretty interesting, causing me to shift my order.

Ideally I'd try to make them all. Usually I start with the axe because keeping the small fire going is a pain ass, Then the shovel comes straight after. At this point people usually ask for the hoe so I make that, hopefully others dig wells and get on with farming.

Then I'll go for the file, sometimes have to make the bow too. Once files done I'll make, sawblade, shears, froe and adze. The pickaxe is my last priority most of the time, can usually find enough iron for the first round of tools. But if I have time I'll make a mine and bring a cart of iron for the future.
Beyond that you just make multiple hoes and axes.
