BELL TOWER HELP!

Hello my sexy stew lovers!

I am about to complete a bell tower alone in server 14 in a town entirely built by myself
(Blueandredfinches helpt me a bit, ty you are awesome <3)

As much knowledge i have about stew, i have little knowledge about the bell tower.

I know when you complete it, you can ring it to attract people and stuff...
But i also heard there are others stuff about it...
Anybody knows what the belltower can do? Like... everything about it?

Can a cute soul spare some knowledge to me about this mysterious bell?

Ringing the bell tower sets the home marker for everyone who is lacking one, to the bell tower’s spot. It can be used to “call” Eves if a town is in need of females, and a lot of people go for bell towers since it promises a huge town ahead.

I have randomly had my home set as an eve and always assumed it easy a past life up until this thread. I'd that tells me what direction and how far a town is.....how far is it when it says 1.2k?  1.2k spaces? How far can one travel per minute?

you need to cut a stone then cut the halfs with chisel and mallet, build a normal stake as a wall base, then every 3 hours an adult can put two more on it
then need a stanchion kit
two gold mined, makes a bell, then needs a rope

you can build 2 towers too if needed, helps with timers, as it sets them off for 20? min

when server population is low, you can try to reborne to it, or just ask on discord to ring the bell

lately shows distance if its more than 1000 tiles, obviously not worth really to go for it 10k + tiles away with no horse

you can scout out and make some closeby signs for adventuresrs and some outposts so some people survive somewhere

you cna find the coordinates of the bells in main page so bells can be used for triangulating distances and server mapping
