Glitching Game

I was seeing people who weren't there, and things were happening when no one was around.

I watched a Queen forge with a berry bush.  She was clearly not actually there, but I could see her, and read her text.

And then a bunch of rabbits suddenly skinned themselves, but I could not see anyone.

I watched a mother put clothes onto a ghost (i.e., the clothes literally disappeared into thin air).

Weirdest glitch ever.

Was I the only one experiencing that?

No, I was definitely 'sober'.

I would have recorded it with my phone, but I left my phone in the other room and was worried I would die trying to get it.

Re: Glitching Game

I've been experiencing glitches too. Have items been randomly disappearing for you? Or things being moved whilst someone is standing super far away? Things of that nature.

You'll see me often as Eve Mcabee and Eve Laurent. Or at least I'll try to be! These days it's hard spawning in as Eve, I usually end up as a baby in some town instead!

No, I was definitely 'sober'.

I would have recorded it with my phone, but I left my phone in the other room and was worried I would die trying to get it.

you don't have to, games are recorded automatically in your game folder, look for the recordedGame folder, open it and try to locate the one where the glitches occured by pasting it it into the playbackGame folder saving and launch the game normally, you'll see a replay of the game. Once you've found the proper one, copy the file and send it to Jason.

I will be eve tana. If not an eve, my kids will be called numerically : Primo, Duo, Tertio, Quattro, Quintus, Sextus, Septimus, Octavius etc... ending with an -a if you're a girl.

Is there anyway to speed it up or something?

Re: Glitching Game

I get the feeling that the problem is due to the high lag of these days ... I have noticed that at noon and in the afternoon the lag is very hard ...
My character stays in repeat mode for 3 or 4 times before performing each action ... a bit exasperating

Re: Glitching Game

The consistent glitches I have experienced might be due to my poor internet connectivity.

-ghosts standing and not doing anything.  (I tried to feed a relative standing by a tree because I thought they may need it or that maybe they were away from the keyboard.)

-I believe this is lag, but everyone onscreen just stops, including me.

-being picked up as a child and ran with... but the screen doesn't load properly until she/he sets you down...  jiggy jaggy back and forth display issues... kind of like you're looking out of a moving car in the passenger seat but it just loads the moving scenery back and forth.

-dying of disconnect but it says I've starved.. . really I'm just bumping endlessly against a food item and the lag kills me.

Re: Glitching Game

I had this a couple of times yesterday. Also had an odd one as a kid where someone seemed to accidently pick me up and then I vanished. Screen wouldn't move when I was trying to walk away and I couldn't see what I was typing on screen but everyone else could. Ended up by starving.

Re: Glitching Game

Lag is really bad today, just played a game with tons of lag, im trying to pick up things, but they are not there. I see people standing same place for ages picking up things from the other side of the map. I got error message 3 times in one life and had to give up at 40.

Has nothing to do with my internet. Its great quality.

Re: Glitching Game

I have also the problem that when someone picks me up (as baby) and put me back down, my camera follows the woman lol. Seems like the game things I'm still in her arms and act likewise, but I'm not. Mostly I see it when I hear the hunger tune so I know I'm not carried but it is weird.

Also, don't know if that was my fault of the other, in one of my lives today a guy was invisible for me. I saw him later, but not at the moment someone say something to him. "Dont kidnap that child Peter" "Peter? Where?" "Right behind you". I didn't see anything.

If you have seen it very recently, please send replay to Jason.  It should have been fixed since end of last week.

Re: Glitching Game

this happened to me too.  i sent jason a recording of the game and he replied with, "thank you!" so he's knows about the issues.  hopefully it'll be patched soon.

That sounds complicated.

I just found out that changing settings/enableSpeedControlKeys.ini from 0 to 1 is enough, no need to mess with vsync GPU settings.  Press ) (shift+0) and then Alt-TAB out of the game.  You won't see what's happening, only hear the sounds, but it will fast forward quite rapidly.  Alt-TAB back from time to time.
