is it a glitch?

i lived to 60 in a village. some guy had a basket with two berries and forge hammer outside of town. Was he griefing? He was clearly afk so I tried to stab him and couldnt? Can you not stab people that are holding baskets? Are people holding baskets immune to being stabbed?

Yeah, It's a glitch. The person wasn't actually there, just a "ghost" of a person just chilling.

lol Lum, i was worried that he was gonna grief. Ive seen people sit outside town before with a bowl of berries and after they finish it they come into town and kill everyone.

i think network lag and they leave the window open
seen  people holding carts full of food and stuff, they age up, i even seen a 14 year old kid breastfeeded this way
not sure if drops after 14 cause i seen only the mother standing afterwards

Sure, but that's no justification. You don't stab someone that hasn't done anything bad yet. Especially if your only reason is prejudice. (Btw this isn't a big deal at all no worries, just wanted to explain what I'm thinking)

I experienced this and wrote about it in one of my stories.

It happens to me a lot and I’ve heard people remark about it as well. Maybe it’s on a specific server? What server have you guys been experiencing it on?
