I love to give babies with full packs empty packs <3
They have such cute little faces though, I admit to giving babies clothes.

i seen people saying "i feed you if you give apron"
cause her dumbfuck mother died and kid stands in full gear cant even eat by himself
i also swap empty packs to full ones or muflon hide for apron, straw hats for wool
yesterday my daughter told me that im old, its no visual indication on the duckface braid girl, so she died 2sec after while i carry her to berries
ofc someone geared her up as baby and all was lost
then the next 15 babies got nothing
just put clothes down
if he is good baby let is survive
if he can pick stuff up and finds it maybe wont starve with it
if you give as reward for work, not free to random baby then improves the city
and dont give knifes and arrows to babies
some got a knife, just to sit in pack for 45 years
that is a tool not a family treasure
i seen knifes sitting in pack while 30 sheared sheep running around, i extend the pen, then granny passes on the knife to the next retard baby who dies in 2 min or doesnt know how to use it and killings start
also fully geared spoiled kids dont understand how often others need to eat and they wonder around doing nothing

Weapons to kids is not a good idea. Better give them to people that contribute something. But clothes are good for baby's. More likely they won't starve, especially when food runs short. Older people got enough backup food bars, so they can make longer ways for food.

Most of the games where the town is not in a desert location or I need to travel. I make my own set of clothes, just not when there is plenty of clothes or something else is more needed.
Just a few games ago I made like 8 Sealskin coats and 5 wolf hats plus I gathered the milkweed from far away.
Clothes are so important everyone should wear clothes, just not in desert towns.

just not build not desert towns, its 4 times better, at least one spot of perfect tmep and people can run minutes without starving
and cactus is last line of defense
also feeding sheep is kinda most important job any baby could do
straw hats, you can make four of them with a ball of yarn, i made like 8 other run, then just regrow the wheat, simple
each bunny can give a loin cloth
now each generation makes a few seal skin, straw hat, red skirt maybe
until composting goes, ropes ares cheap, fleece and needle to make clothes
instead people run around begging, demanding clothes then give them to a random noob

I have only ever given a baby a backpack when she was the last girl in the entire village lol. when i make backpacks, i make sure the adults get them first.
Offline
i dont think i've ever been fully clothed, more often i have only one piece, like a single shoe or decayed stuff
but i almost always end up with a backpack, either given, found or self made
I will be eve tana. If not an eve, my kids will be called numerically : Primo, Duo, Tertio, Quattro, Quintus, Sextus, Septimus, Octavius etc... ending with an -a if you're a girl.

i dont bother with full fur clothing after decay update, i like to have pack
if i cross a seal i hit him, sometimes i dont even sew it
loin cloth if we got extra
i often try getting full wool
morti and some other bitch complained to give backpack to him/to adult
well i was a baby but already realized we need to make needles, so i did and made the pack so cry however you want
if you put furs in the city someone will take it if not me someone else
and the fact that i get a thread as baby and make the pack means i got better exploration skills and better sense of priority than the "adults" who happen to born earlier
i dont mind if a kid picks up my clothes one by one, but it tells you a lot if someone lives a life in a half shoe
and as far as i seen too many kids become griefers when thy got full clothing and is misleading, if i see a player in clothes i expect that knows the game well enough
if i work with sheep, i make myself full clothing, apron is pretty good with pie/key/knife
i make some extra too
but straw hats are the most simple, and seal skins

When I appear in a great civilization and I'm not dressed, I just have to wait to be able to move fluently and take a walk around the city, I almost always find some solitary corpse with the complete equipment ... I often see people in these civilizations waiting for an old man to die, they chase him until the old man falls dead and in a matter of seconds they take away all the equipment, it's a bit sad to see ... it shows that many people are lazy even from traveling a little around of the city ... another of the typical cases is when you try to pass your equipment to your children ... there are always children around waiting for you to let go of your equipment to steal it ... I always try to transfer my equipment away from the city and from thieves

Yes, I find this very sad. Elderly people are supposed to be viewed as wise and accomplished; reaching your “withered” stage is no small feat.
But people treat them like a living pile of loot. That’s all they are to everyone else without the clothes the elderly posses. I feel bad, knowing that my mother was viewed by the rest of society as someone to get free loot from rather than a person, a member of society who should be respected.
And it feels bad knowing that after you die, you’re going to be looted and left on the ground. Very rarely does anyone say goodbye to me when I don’t have any clothes.

Someone else posted it but the only good solution is to be more productive.
Hoping that all these people will behave differently is foolish.
