A few days ago I decided to record a playthrough. I ended up spawning as a eve. i quickly made a sharp rock, found some reeds made a basket and began to look for some food. i popped out a child a few seconds later but since I still had not found food i kept going leaving my baby boy behind. A few more tiles north I found a bush the crying of my newborn had stopped, I ate an placed some berries in my basket, my son appeared in front of my still alive! I fed him and named him Will, I gave myself the last name wild (as I often do).
I laughed at his will to live an we continued on. we found more bushes an set up temorarily I gave birth to his sister, she didnt tell me f an shortly after her first feeding an naming. I told him I didnt want to start from scratch an we were going to look for a old camp. I raised him till he could feed himself, he quickly ran off made himself a basket filled it for the journey an we began. I figured if we just kept heading north we would find something, anything. We ran an ran an ran stopping to fill our baskets when we got the chance. My son was smart he was a survivor an the longer we went the prouder I was. after many children only keeping the girls who didnt make it for different reasons, I realized we searched for half our lives an still couldnt find any camps or green tiles next to water.
I told him the next green wtih water we find we stay. a few minutes later we found more berries an my son went off to see if water was near by. I waited, I had a girl an named her fire. my son returned and said water fifty tiles west. we journey with baby following we stoped to feed her when she said f an kept moving. we found our new home but baby and i got seperated in a maze of trees. i raced to get her an she raced to get to me... it was to late. It was just me an my son again, i told him I hope I can give him a sister before I die and we began to make our camp. I had a new baby girl and she began to run!! I had to chase her I couldnt lose this one! not when I was so close to becoming an elder, I couldnt leave my grown son alone after all the migrating he put up with an survived. I had to yell that we had a camp for her to stop running lol.
I fed her an began to beep on two bars SHIT!! I ran her back to camp placed her with her brother an said feed her before running to the closest bush! whew made it lol. I went back for her an scolded her for almost killing me lol. I named her star an told her of our journey. I fed her again an got back to work on the farm. I popped out another girl I fed her an was naming her when she jumped out of my arms an ran. me an star laughed. I turned into a elder at the same time Star became a child. i congratulated her on being grown an then, my screen began to freeze. I couldnt move an my hunger started beeping. I told star I was frozen an to live on an have children to help her brother an tell him I loved him. I then watched as everything around me was in slow motion but I could here my daughter eat a berry. I died. I hope She lived on an helped her brother. Will and Star I love you.

Playing OHOL optimally is like cosplaying a cactus: stand still and don't waste the water.

I always tell the child to follow the cart or follow the basket. Both you and your child can have a LAG.
If you want to hug anyway, you have to put your cart or basket down.
It is therefore very convenient if the child stops by the cart or basket.
It is also a good idea to let your child know where you are going.
I took two kids in this way and most of them succeeded.
Except when the child gives up first or when the LAG is too severe.
Or there is no food in the snow field.
