Every time I run the mod exe it works then the update downloads and the whole thing reverts to vanilla

Probably because the game got patched yesterday.

Try getting the latest version of HETUW. That should fix the problem.

Then you will need to reach out to the mod creator or switch to a different client. It looks like the last update was eight months ago, so it might not be active any longer.

You might try wondible's modded client. It's a good choice and still being updated.

This is true, Awbz is still working with the update. I haven't needed to update the Awbz mod in so long.

I got awbz to work which I'm thankful for because I literally can't play without zoom

but hetwu was so good I'm functioning at half strength at best

if someone can figure out a fix (or explain how to) that would be great

lol I played hundreds of hours vanilla the point is to accomplish as much as possible within the allotted hour per life

If you think not using mods or chat or trucks or crafting everything from scratch makes you 'pro' the truth is it just makes you 'slow'

Far as 'vets' go my actual next step is to write my own mods/scripts so go ahead and call me a noob when you probably don't even know C+

Next time i use cheat engine to break a game ill remind everyone they're just stupid and slow because i know how to enable an advantage. Most of you hetuw users couldn't even build an engine in a life time, let alone two engines vanilla. When your mod stops getting updated and you have to actually play the game like most new players we can talk about slow. But likely youll all just whine about how its unplayable because its not easy anymore.

Who pissed in your coffee this morning? The extreme zoom on the vanilla interface is nausea-inducing for those of us who have decently sized screens. A good interface makes or breaks a game, and some people choose to play the game with a better interface. This isn't "a cheat engine" in the same way that using a shovel to dig a pit isn't cheating when everyone else insists on using a spoon.

Seeing as this is the "make hetuw work again" thread and not "Gremlynn's hating hetuw thread", my advice is to die mad about it

Thanks for your response. Very inspired. As ive said before. Keeping a broken system alive through artificial means only hurts the game as a whole. As it makes the current system seem like it works and is fine as is. But thats not really the point. My main issue is people freaking out over a mod and acting like babies when it need to be fixed. Modders have lives and they arnt making any money, but as soon as something goes wrong with the mod everyone starts screaming like entitled children. The hetuw mod has almost died several times over the years. Mainly due to the toxic atmosphere surrounding this game. You should feel lucky there are people who care about this community to keep going, for free. Show them some respect, treat them like people. You're lucky they're still around.

The only person complaining here is you. I respect mod creators, not whiny babies who derail threads to complain they personally dislike a mod they don't use. I highly doubt that OHOL is made actively worse by my decision to play with a mod, lmao. Go spin on it.
