To review, perhaps, raw food value (not yum, the amount of pips) gets lower and lower for all foods, until bottoming out at 1 pip for that food, as a family gets older and older. A berry at generation 1 is 5 pips, 4 at generation 3, and eventually 1 pip. Is this balanced? Is it too fast? Is it too slow?

It feels awful if you end up in low tech or otherwise fall off the yum cliff, ravenously devouring everything you can find, which somehow can never fill your bottemless stomach.
Which then stands in a stark juxtaposition to late yum, where you go for decades without eating. Food pacing is weird and amorphous, shifting from life to life as you get different generations, and throughout each life as you climb the yum ladder.
I guess "every life is different"
Except they are all about food.

That did make me chuckle.

i think in general food needs a rework so that we wont need generational food decay.
Cravings should be fixed so that in the first gene score you cannot be stuck on mushrooms or biome locked stuff.
Raw foods should have low food limit from beginning, but as balance hunted food should have more bites.
Instead of having super low pip value, you could get /ill of raw foods if you eat to much meh raw foods in a row
Yum bonus could be changed to a flat food value doubling.
