Who built the longest railroad in OHOL?

Today reviewing onemap.wondible.com I found this:
https://onemap.wondible.com/#x=-8042&y= … 1594821905
https://onemap.wondible.com/#x=-8050&y= … 1594821905
https://onemap.wondible.com/#x=-8031&y= … 1594821905
I think it is the longest railroad I have seen in OHOL (and the biggest waste of time and iron too)
Who has built it?
What purpose does it have?

is it the same person who created this?

Re: Who built the longest railroad in OHOL?

I feel like maybe a rails/sprinkler system *could* work but I'm not sure.

I'm imagining a long horizontal sprinkler system with produce on each side, and a rail loop above and below going to a food storage area at one end.

Would need a way for the carts to stop one-by-one for unloading at the food storage area, or something.

Rail cars are actually good storage, hold more slots than a box and don't block movement.

cantt open the links

there was a long one in one of the cities i revisited a few times
made a nice rubber farm for them and a fenced pen with a small farm

the rails extended quie long 2 part near the town to the irons, wasnt the most useful

EsnZbWf.png
made this the last time I played
looked easier on a blueprint, kinda useful but still nto worth it.

using a sttatic cart you can block the other, making some stops for it. also can be open need if people dont fuck it up
so it might work with some iron mines and sttuff, butt we still don't have enough reasons to do static stops or cheap way to do them.

asked jason to increase the carts input, since it's a mining cart, makes sense, I saw people using itt for storage, which is cool att least.

an on/off swithc to stop them anywhere would be nice, and simple

the next step would be automatic load/unload and it would be awesome.

Playing OHOL optimally is like cosplaying a cactus: stand still and don't waste the water.
