Where can I find the New Food Values?

old skim milk had values of 6 now it has 4, Even with round up it had to be 3 right?
Or the skim milk value wasn't 6 in the first place.
How does the 0.5-factor work and on what initial values is calculated,

Try Skim milk in game it gives you 4 pips

Skim milk had 6 pips.
why does it have 4 now and not 3 ?!

Re: Where can I find the New Food Values?

jasons commit says this:

jasonrohrer wrote:

There are still food surpluses everywhere. Food scale factor 0.5 (was 1.0), with eating bonus of 4 (was 2). This increases food pressure long-term, but not too hard for Eve starts.

to calculate you take the food value of an object and multiple it by the food scale, than add the food bonus:

so if you have carrots for example: https://onetech.info/402-Carrot
the food value is 5,
so you multiple it by 0.5 which becomes 2.5,
then you round up (like pein said) and it becomes 3
so carrots go from 5 to 3

at the end you just add the food bonus to it, if the food bonus is 4, than 3 + 4 = 7
but i think the food bonus disappears over generations?

Re: Where can I find the New Food Values?

Maybe the bonus and the town you were in, it's decaying down from 4
milk might take 2 hours into camp so you might be right, if it's not an early camp then it shouldn't be

not even sure how the bonus decays like 3 generations for each one pip? then you might of been before gen 13

Re: Where can I find the New Food Values?

"Whoops. Had food scale factor functioning backwards. Needed to cut floor in half, and leave main scale factor alone."

Also, he had issues with the odd number round-ups so bad food became better.

And let's not forget that hungry work is not scaling so you eat a full pig to kill 2 other.
