Well, it loosely informs me of how much you're all caring for each other.

this may aswell be a bad random number generator.
because any family association is almost completely random and sure is very short term, yet this is what the memerscore is ranking.

its ingame effect is completely neglible.

except for the fact that, for a better memerscore, the best strategy is to kill all elsers of a townm, especially your own mother, because this more likely increases it than diminishing it, as memerscore only cares for ones offspring and family down survival, but NOT for elder survival.
so, we dont to that think ingame, in defiance of this dumb rating system.
we dont act like invisible spiders that eat their parents upon birth.

Well, the genetic fitness score affects what age you start losing hunger bars. This can help you be more productive in the later years of your life.

Also, just because someone in the village doesn't actually affect your score doesn't mean it's wise to eliminate them.it is almost always better to have higher productivity with more workers. Also, any drama can lower the score easily. People who like to call it totally random are probably drama magnets.

I mean yes, we all will run into an unfortunate massacre some time but that applies to all of us

Me thinks the score needs to be scaled differently. Make it less swingy and any score less than 25 or something actually gives no benefit and above 40 full benefit. Thrown in some other perk maybe even, like fertility or for guys an odd chance to actually counter parry a weapon attack and kill the attacker instead

Its so random that its a total joke. No matter if you live 60 almost every life. One eve camp will ruin you totaly.

If you really want to go for the high score you:

1. Never ever go eve. Its better to die a solo death than take the hit on the score from dying babyes in early camp

2. Disarm whole town.

3. Dont ever play after apocalypse.

4. Only stay in big towns that have everything ready.

5. Spam clothes. Kids love clothes and wont "/die" that easily if you can dress them up nicely.

Optional choise of path... kill the elders so they wont consume the food your siblings need. Can provoke drama tho and hit your points in that way.

Once you hit number 1 or the score you are satisfied you stop playing so you wont get spawned to random murder village.

This is even more true considering that a sudden infant death doesn't count towards your score, not even if you are the one using SID. This means that you can skip Eve camps with no punishment to your score.

OH didnt even know that. Now thats super retarded. This system totaly sucks balls. If you have high score you dont found civilizations you just come and live in them when they prosper, spam kids and snowball that society into serious lack of resourses XD SO FREAKING BAD!

Moms should not take a hit from SID kid, but kid who SIDs should totaly take a hit to his genes. Would even say he should take higher hit to make it work in anyway.

So basically you just SID so long till you get a peacefull town that has lots of food and clothes. Then you wear it all out and sid spam to next good village and destroy it too. "Best genes".

i dropped 400 places cause idiots killig me for no particular reason and a small camp with not much food
i did my best, wasn't anything i could do, i made tools, i fed babies
they died, early camps kill your score fast
i wont suicide to medium towns just to keep it high

if any base at any point runs out of food, and shit hits the fan, people had it long comming form the mistakes they did, likely by not dispersing/gathering, likely not enough carts or roads where build.

In the end genetic fitness is purely random, at most you can try to help your town but for me it makes no difference.

Score works as such: As long as you aren't playing as Eve you'll receive a score for how long you live with 60 always being a positive, something close to your score breaking even, and anything less causing you to lose points. As a woman your direct line of kin born during your lifetime will also effect your score based on them living e.g. daughters, sons, grandchildren. Men are slightly different as they get all the points (negative or positive) from ALL their sisters instead which means playing male can be very volatile to your score if you care about it.

It's on a leaderboard: I think this point is moot since it's a bunch of random names where everyone can claim to be any rank. Of course you can grab screenshots but why would you care about that in the first place lmao.

It gives food bar (or pip) bonuses based on score: Someone in last place will age like you have from the start where you'll lose all the way down to 4 pips at 59.5 while in the new system someone with a score of like 40+ will be closer to 9 or 10 pips by the time you die. If you've played the game long enough this is pretty trivial in the sense you know how to eat and pay attention in old age but if you're newer it makes reaching old age easier if you can't be mindful of your pips.

Basically it's a memerboard for people who have good rng on who they get as a child. Gives a little benefit in the long run but I would never ever play for score just like I wouldn't play this game just to eat food for an hour.

Apparently you can't see the different lives between different computers. Was going to check how hard playing a male in an Eve camp hurt my memer score and found this instead.

Apparently Jason made my children into dickheads for disregarding the gene score system
