I'd say this is going to become new meta as more things become stackable, I've tried this in a couple of lives and it is really easy to clean up a town and know where everything is!
All it takes is a few wall pieces and/or floor pieces to help indicate the borders, no problem at all.

Also imagine a filled up storage full of stackables *drool*

I've built pantries in a few towns to centralize the food and free up the kitchen. People didn't get it and either took off with the whole boxes of food hauling them into the kitchen or turned the pantry into another nursery/bakery.

since i play vanilla, so it's too big for me to overlook
in general not that bad of an idea, better than stuff scattered

I think this is OK, though I think that wood should be stored near the fire. It's the best way to keep it from going out if the population dips or if people get distracted. Ideally there are 3 stacks right in the nursery so moms don't have to move to add more wood (keep in mind some of the time a mom has as many as 5 babies to feed and that can feel hectic) there should be a few bits of kindle incase it falls to embers as well. Outside the door of the nursery there should be as many stacks of firewood as possible I don't think I've ever seen too much.
Lastly butt logs should never be near these fire stacks not if you ever want to have floors.
I have been doing trash-outs in towns where there is clutter. I just pick up any annoying little debris and place them in a field just out of town. The worst items are those that can't go in a cart or baskets, mostly the millions of bowls of whatever in this game: carnitas, salsa, slaked lime, salt, uncooked chips, dyes and so on.
I've been in towns with tons of bowls but still not enough because every bowl is filled with a half-completed project someone started but did not complete. Wish they could be emptied in to the trash pits. (I know some like palm and wheat can be emptied, but most are just useless)

I am thinking of adding a fence or two between the corners to make it even easier to see for new family members, I am gonna make these every time I play ohol since they're so awesome

I love it.

you know now that property fences are coming out, I am seeing some one making one of these and then another person claiming all of it!

put horse fences so we can stop with horse to drop
or a tiny biome
yesterday on alex family i used an 1x2 badland for horse parking but every time people took it thinking it wont stay there
i guess without zoom people need roads to separate areas
rather than bringing firewood to fire, bring fire to firewood
same goes for froe and cart making tools, especially with planted trees

Playing OHOL optimally is like cosplaying a cactus: stand still and don't waste the water.
