sick of these baby suicides

so i was the daughter of a wandering eve. we were born into a fairly recourse heavy area, and me, my brother, and the eve flourished. i ended up giving birth to many kids, most male, and one female that starved because she couldn't find an empty space. as i neared my infertility, i had another daughter who asked to be named enrique. she said she was fairly new, and i told her i would teach her the basics she'd need to survive in our small carrot farming village. i indulged her, and named her such. i raised enrique to the point she was able to function on her own. as i was tending to the farms and making omelettes, suddenly enrique came rushing back. there were at least two fresh omelettes, but enrique didn't eat any. she begged "F" "F" "F" even though she was able to eat and fend for herself. she died and we all mourned her death. we thought she was simply a new player who screwed up. as i was praying to have a child, i had another daughter. she was well behaved at first, but then proceeded to run around so i couldn't feed her. she slowly typed out Y/O/U/L/E/T/M/E/D/I/E/. we told her that there was food right next to her, and if she wanted food she could've gotten it. she committed suicide by starvation, and basically doomed our lineage. i soon became infertile, and there was no chance to continue our line. i asked my son to shoot me, so i could just respawn quickly (we had food and stuff so me dying just prolonged my kids lifespans).

if you're a new player and you're taught how to feed yourself, don't blame it on others for your mistake and purposefully ruin their run. its just a dick move.

Re: sick of these baby suicides

It's sad when people are so demanding over others that they go far enough to actually punish people who didn't play the way they wanted them to play, in this case, feeding them. It's odd how a fairly new player would want to punish others like that though. Usually newer players put the blame on themselves and are more understanding over mistakes.
Anyways if she could be fed, it would've been best to just feed her and then say she has to feed herself. Did you run out of berries when it happened? Maybe she hadn't seen omelettes before and didn't recognize the food?

Re: sick of these baby suicides

Ultimately the level of the players is frustrating, it is very difficult to see genealogical trees with people of 60 years

in my last lives, for weeks, my descendants do not exceed 2 generations more (my grandchildren finish my lineage)

I've noticed that men die a lot later than women ... should be the burden of children, but I do not understand ...

Sometimes I check if my daughters do not take care of their babies but I notice that almost everyone is of age to eat alone and ALL die of hunger, in cities with excess food:

Yeah I'm really over new players completely raging because they don't understand how the game climate works. Newsflash: you actually have to do stuff and not everything is solved with murdering those who teach you how to play correctly.

Re: sick of these baby suicides

At least they died from incompetence, which I think is mildly less infuriating than deliberate suicide. I think it was in one Tarr lineage. I was an infertile hag, living alone with my great niece and my son in a fairly big town. Niece makes the observation that she's the last woman.

"Lol bye."

And then she commits suicide.

Re: sick of these baby suicides

seen the same
my first granddaughter ran to a snake when her mother left for 2 sec
i fed her she still ran to a snek, then go under the kiln
comes the next kid 1 sec later, ask if its her, says no but suicides on snake and runs under the kiln

i get that you dont wanna be there but dont ruin for others, i made an effort, eventually trapped the snake too, wasnt good spot but was ok not like we were on middle of a green biome, still better than starting with nothing

eventually we died out cause of careless woman and baby suicides

Re: sick of these baby suicides

For me, it's unluckiness. I've had about 1 girl for every 5 boys recently and it's ticking me off. When I do have girls (And boys) they run away. I usually play cat and mouse with them, trying to convince them I care about them. If they persist, I leave them.
Because of this, my longest Eve lineage in the last month lasted about 3 generations.
