Type "FOOD" but only get "F" because you're a baby. I remember when it was fairly even "F" for FOOD and "H" for HUNGRY.
I assume F won out because of the "press F to pay respects" meme.

Because babies can only type a few letters. I guess it was just the easiest way to communicate to mothers that you needed food.

If you're typing it out 1 letter at a time you'll get F first obviously. Not a leap of faith to see that become the norm imo

I know about this "babies can say one letter" thing -- but most new babies say the entire "FOOD" instead of F, so was wondering why it's been abbreviated. And why "F" rather than "S" for starving or "H" for hungry?
