Lock removal key only removes locks from doors.

Using the lock removal key on a locked chest does nothing.  Haven't tried with a sign but the tips section only says it unlocks doors.  Not sure if this is intended.

i think yes

doors can lock you into a room when you spawn
boxes and signs wont cause issue, you need to find their key

I personally don't think this makes sense. There shouldn't be lock removal, but if there is, it should work on all locks. "What's good for the geese is good for the gander."

Edit: At the time, I misunderstood the lock removal mechanic. I think it's fine and good to see that is intended to work on all locks.

Yes, this is a bug.  Will fix

However, for the sign, a key always removes the lock, so no removal key is needed.
