Update: From Riches to Rags

75 new things.  Mostly broken things.  Rotting things.  Fragile things.

And stone walls, which are the opposite of all of that.  And locking doors.

A whole new web of interdependence for farming.

A new mother selection method (temperature, not food).

Maybe for your next update you can add something that wont make the game increasingly harder then the one before, like red headed characters ? That would give us a chance to catch our breath for a little bit and try to survive in this mad unforgiving world.

Wow, so much trash around now. I am kind of confused, cant we dispose in any way of broken stuff? I tried digging a trash pit, nothing. No crafting information while hovering on broken and decaying things either. At the moment I find playing really frustrating as every town I play in is full of scattered and broken stuff that you cant really remove.

I like the changes but I don't think these were intentional:

1) Looks like we can't make steel hoe out of steel hoe blade yet.
2) Ponds provide the same amount of water but one of the sprites repeats and the last one before we dry the pool looks different.

I kinda feel like we should be able to burn broken baskets and wooden tools.

Yeah, some decayed stuff should be recyclable (like wood for kindling), some should be repairable (like backpacks) and only a few should be complete waste.

So far I only spawned to naked mums over and over, so there goes your idea of spawning by temp requirement...

I haven't seen any city yet or signs of decay, because I spawned in the wild with mums running around for a good spot to start a base, of which most of them left me to die.

The walls take 5 generations to start cracking.  And they can be fixed after that.  That's a long time.

I fixed the hoe.  An update is going live with that change.

Also, servers were crashing.  That has been fixed.  The change is going live right now.

Do wild carrots only grow 1 seed now instead of 2?

Gettin real tired of this game just getting exponentially more difficult with no new content. I refuse to play as an Eve now. Its just too grindy. I run off looking for the quickest way to die. Sorry babies.

If temp is an issue now, then the temp of all biomes need to be fixed. grasslands and plains should not have the same temp as polar.
