children in abandoned towns

I have done some scavenging and I got kids in an abandoned town. When I came back to that town in my next life I also got kids. I didn't use the well. It had no family name on it. I'm sure that well isn't claimed by any family. In a male life it also happend at another abandoned town that it became homeland. Also didn't touch the well there. The only commen factor in all those lifes was that I used the cisterns. Maybe it has something to do with that.

Yep, cisterns count, to help out places that have high-tech hard-to-use wells get reestablished while they work on the well problem.
