To dye your clothes isn't all that hard.

It's basically a 2 step process:

1. Prepare (mordant) the wool clothing so the dye will stick to it
2. Dye the wool

Mats needed:
- Alum. Alum is a mordant or dye fixative and is found in the rocky wastes ("grey" biome). It looks like a white metal crystal and may be a bit hard to find. Better take a basket and bring 3 pieces back in case you screw up (as I did).
- Indigo bundle or Rose Madder root. Both are found in the dessert ("yellow" biome). Rose madder can be dug out and an Indigo bundle can be cut, both with a sharp stone. Both are abundant in the dessert biome. Rose madder will dye a red color, Indigo will dye blue.
- 2 clay bowls with water (for one color)
- A fire
- Wool clothing

The dyeing process:

1. Prepare wool so the dye will stick to it :
1a. Find alum.
1b. Find Rose Madder (for red) root or Indigo (for blue) or both
1c. Make a small fire and let it die to coals
1d. Put the bowl of water on the coals, this will give you simmering water
1e. Add the Alum to the simmering water. This leaves you with a bowl of Simmering Dye Mordant
1f. Dip clothes that need to be died in the Simmering Dye Mordant *

2. Dye the wool:
2a. make another fire and let it die to coals again
2b. Put the bowl of water on the coals, this will give you simmering water
2c. Add the Rose madder root (red) or the Indigo Bundle (blue) to the simmering water
2d. Drip your prepared clothes from step 1 in the dye *

Tadaah! Your wool clothing has been dyed.

Note:
* Multiple uses are possible, but I havent tested if it is capped to a certain number of uses.
** The Simmering Water, Simmering Dye Mordant, Simmering Indigo Dye and Simmering Rose Madder Dye wont stay around forever, they only last as long as the coals last. So you have about a minute to use them. Therefore, make sure you have all the materials within your reach.
*** I described this process by heart, so if I've forgotten something, please let me know!

Learn how to make the 3 basic rope tools at the beginning, an axe, fire bow drill and a snare. If you have these its easy to sustain yourself and get fully kitted along with caring for others.

How to make an axe? I only find steel axe on the wiki.

He meant hatchet, not axe.
Sharp stone, rope and short shaft make a hatchet.
Makes kindle for the fire

Also:

Dont:
* take tools from the areas where they belong (hammers, stones, hatchets, etc)
* litter

Always:
* leave a sharp stone and a round stone in the kitchen. The cook needs this for your pies.
* leave round stone at the blacksmith / pottery. Needed for bowls, plates and iron working
* leave hatchet at the fire
* bring your empty plates back to the kitchen if possible

Hey mate

Love ur server and the time u've invested in it.

At the time somethings go very wrong:
Berrie bushes turn into pies when used
Pies turn into ponds when used
Ponds turn into wolves when used
Seeds turn into wells when used once
Cisterns turn into wells when used

Also, the game crashes a lot.
(fresh updated to 0.67)

Hope its updated soon
Love
