It never ceases to amaze me how many lame excuses griefers have for killing other characters.

What a spineless attitude.

Not using it as a excuse, just saying that I will. I know its selfish and other junk, I just really don't care.

But the person who got the name is not guilty. | Also, you’ll lower your score and your family’s score as well.

I will think about that first part, and I don't give a crap about fitness too much as I have a easy time surviving even with a low hunger due to yum. I just don't maximize my score much. I am a bit selfish on the lowering other peoples score though I admit.

Bias and it's a bit overused. Edited that into the main post now.

If I ever catch you naming your kid "Hope", I will kill you and the child. If I am named "Hope", I will kill whoever named me and then die myself. Ok thank you for reading why I will murder anybody named "Hope".        :)

--Ok heres a edit, I think the name is too overused, and I just have a bias against that name.

We were almost out of food while I was doing this, and an aging woman took me to the south where she had property.  There was a small farm down there with a bit of food left, and some charcoal and water.  Salvation!  She gave me ownership, and I used this as my base while I tried to save the village via oil.  Obviously, in this situation, sharing that last bit of food with the rest of the village would have doomed us all.

Nope.  That woman could have produced more if she hadn't made the property.  The rope is a bucket, say for milk.  Also, I doubt that you used up all closeby springs.  That's really late for a diesel engine.  And making a diesel engine before oil just isn't good to begin with.  Your experience doesn't tell much about late village life in general, more like a late village life with inferior players.

Three pipes?  Are you that slow are using the roller and bore Jason, or was the family out of iron?

Oh hey... a loom before oil also.  Making that also consumed water earlier that could have gotten used to get oil up.  And a sword.  I don't blame Dodge for 'testing' it, but it does indicate a problem, since he was clearly NOT playing for his lineage there, when you experienced the water crisis later because of him NOT playing for the sake of his lineage.  Really, Dodge's comment should clue you in that this update worked AGAINST the goal of people playing for their lineages.  Oh... and Dodge was a woman, wasting water and wanting to go to war.  Fertile women dying doesn't contribute to lineages also.

The abundant resources had an aesthetic effect that was more pleasing.  As someone else said it made it feel like you were out in the wilderness instead of in some picked over teenage wasteland (alright, the person I've parphrased... I think it's Psykout... didn't say 'teenage wasteland').

Spoonwood, I get you love to keep things running in lineages and be as efficient as possible. My only issue is that you are rude to others make things for fun things (or evil things whichever one) that don't really help too much overall. (Take what I say with a pinch of salt, I am surely not the best player here and also I like how you call people "inferior players" over not being too efficient with water.) Sorry if this is phrased in a mean/rude way btw

Someone, apparently using the hetuw mod, is making useless wood flooring by the oven.  I look for the adze, but don't see it (I find it later).  So, I use the froe like once or twice and make a few buckets.  Some boards get made by someone else, so I take some disks and make more buckets.  Then she stabs me and calls me a griefer.  Lady, you were wrong.  Your wood floors are useless and you need A LOT of buckets to have an efficient and well-run settlement.  You sure your family has enough buckets?  Your certainty is almost surely wrong, and the family can use more buckets.

Intentionally wrecking someone else's project to get the material for YOUR project is incredibly rude behavior.   I think she was justified in assuming you were a griefer.   Next time, ASK the woman if you can use some of her boards to make more buckets.   You saw that she was working on a flooring project.  Those were not just random boards, abandoned by the previous generation.   She gathered the logs, cut them into boards and had a specific purpose that she intended to use them for.   That was a lot of time and hard work that she put into that project and everyone only have one life to finish working in a particular village.  When you disrupt someone else's work you potentially prevent them from finishing what they have set out to achieve and ruin their enjoyment ... just like a griefer.

You should respect other productive players.   Their work is important too.   If you are making buckets and already have a froe, you don't need to steal someone else's boards.  If you can't find the froe or adze, you could just ask that woman where to find the tool you need.   She obviously got those boards from somewhere.    If neither of you can find the necessary tools, make another one, if you have sufficient iron.   It does no one any good if you dismantle someone else's hard work or intentionally get in their way because you feel their goal is less valuable than your goal.  Especially if you do so without communicating your intentions and reasoning to the other person so they understand why you are acting like a jerk.  It just looks like you are disrupting peaceful village life and ruining things for no reason.

We had a giant argument on the OHOL discord over property, ugly buildings and how the lady was bad. I made points like this but I quit due to him not realizing how rude it was.
