Would really be cool if someone orginiesed keys giving to only deserving members of community. AND have lots of coppies. This key would leed to a house with a nice old forge.

But i do know that you only got like 35 min to do this in one life and that looks hard. Twins ect should be able to do it though...

I hated that guy so much, i had 3 gold ingots and a carrot crown. And you can guess what i was doing. Jo saved "us". I had some time to find monolith also with backpack and at age like 40.

#3 Re: Main Forum » Horns for Cursed Players? » 2018-08-21 00:19:09

Because this game is "realistic", i dont think it would fit with horns. Though maybe a skin that only cursed people have. For example, pale skin with mean looking face.

Horns takes the whole part of OHOL where it's realistic.

Just autowalk and the press once outside the road. It's not really something to complain about.

Guys you should not kill someone just for not helping out 100%. Think about it this dude probally spent 20-30 min and you are just going to take that away with your arbitary thoughts.

Guys just relax for a sec.

I have a great tactic for male noobs. (if you are a lazy psycopath as me)
Tell them you will show the how to farm, then go to the cold drop them (or lead them there). Have a full belly then just explain while they starve and die. It looks like an accident then.

This is only for educational purpose.

I've been playing this game for a while and i started to notice a patern in people. So i made a list of diffrent "personalities" ingame.
This is just for fun, dont take it personal smile

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Normal helper- Knows somethings about how to play and is quite helpful but often just helps and does nothing extraordinary. (Sometimes defends cursed people)

-"Pro" Player- Complains alot, often being mad of people for doing anything out of farming, baking and making tools. "Stop building wooden tiles it wastes planks"

-Cursed people- Behaviour is going after weapon and trashtalking, sometimes fabricating that they have "changed" since the curse.

-kind noob- Often ask people if needed help but can't really help without you showing how to do it. Really overall often kind people.

-Berry eating noob- Afraid of change and dont talk alot. Often eating lots of food around.

-Humble worker- Works often without break. More times than not even talk and when they die they just fade away without making a mess or telling them to get buried.

-Ambitious workers- Monolith people, crown makers, builders, horse tamer ect. Often goes down making something before they die, (Wants to be buried)

-Farming mess- Entire life farms carrots, wheat, cabbage, potato ect. Good people that helps many famines.

-Pro baker- Makes pie, stews, mutton ect often saving villages from famines. Good people.

-Cultist- Though rare it does exist. People who go around and talk to others maybe not for cults but for reasons. Not really farming or anything else but making conversation.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you have anything i miss feel free to comment smile

When I build my house, I want to be able to clear all tiles.

Me and some other people made a huge castle like building and like somewhere in the middle there was an random cactus. A shovel should be able to clear it i'd think.

EDIT: Also just found out about the linage ban. Seems just off putting.

I vouch for neo. This person seems really unstable sending public threats to people in an inmature way. I don't care whats it about but you really should not threaten people like you just did.

#10 Re: Main Forum » Awful Players - The Curse System is NOT Working » 2018-08-17 17:34:55

People born with a curse can just keep quiet and people wont notice a curse. I vouch for the idea with Eve spawn with to many curses.

Also, I have a screenshot, but I have no idea how to post it. hmm
Last time I used my Imgur account to post it, but I got so many hate comments it drove me insane. It was a picture of a man marking a grave. I don't know why everyone hated it. Anyway, do you know how I can post it?

Dont know why anyone would be mad of an Imgur post. Just post it as you did before and that should be fine smile

BANISHMENT
So right now kings and queens are just an rp thing.  What if they were more?  The townspeople swear allegiance to a monarch, and once the monarch has X subjects, they gain the power of banishment.  The monarch is the sole figure required to bestow a banishment.  So this becomes powerful in that you don't have to coral a ton of people and get them all to fully type out a name, etc.  It bypasses many of the problems with newbs not knowing how to curse properly.  But there are also material costs.   You must have a throne, and you must have a crown.  The throne must be in an enclosed building.  The monarch claims a throne while wearing the crown.  This changes the name of the throne to "The Throne of monarchsname" rather than "an empty throne".  After claiming the throne people can declare "monarchname is my liege".  Once the monarch has enough subjects, they gain the power of banishment.  Maybe just once in their life.  Maybe once per X subjects.  Or whatever.  The effect of banishment might be that the subject is forced to drop any weapons, and cannot pick up any items at all within X tiles of the throne (except maybe harvesting wild gooseberries and onions, so they can leave perhaps).  The banishment lasts for life of target, regardless of what happens to monarch.

This creates a dynamic where a monarch actually means something.  The people are bestowing protective power on someone who (hopefully) can use it well.  A pretender monarch will not get the support of enough subjects to do anything.   The power is powerful because it is an executive power, not a diffuse one.  But it is also costly in that it requires some advanced infrastructure.   This is a mechanic of advanced towns.  The throne is of course gold, so another use for gold.   And I am a huge fan of anything that encourages enclosed buildings.  You could even have accoutrements for the throne room, that count as additional fractions of a subject, perhaps at a matched ratio.  A bearskin rug counts as .2.  A silk tapestry .5.  Etc.  For every one subject you have, you can gain a bonus subject if you have enough accoutrements.  So you can't get power solely from accoutrements, but you they do enhance your power.

Really cool idea. I think that everyone that votes for someone with a crown, the person with the crown should have atleast 70% of his/her families votes to be able to make commands so greifers dont just spam banishments. But people die at random so you would need to go under 40-50% of the votes to loose commands. And also when a banishment have happen he should have around 3 mins to take his stuff and leave so the person has a chance of anything.

I don't agree with the throne command, you should just be able to left click the throne when you have over 70% of votes henceforth give you commands.
Also a pretender with 20% of votes should not be able to be banished.

Gold is rare, throne should be hard to make also so this dont get abused. Kings/Queens would be cool but only if it was rare and expensive.

I was born in a family called "Weed". My mother named me sparkles, i was her first born and she took well care of me. The place i was born in had just got some tools and a farm going. The village was very productive surprisingly and was trying to prosper. I worked on farm until adulthood.

Then i had a brilliant idea of building something and luckly there were a lot of "Big hard rocks" around just waiting to be digged by some low teir peasant. So i got to work and started to dig up these rocks, once i had done some digging a "random" dude came along and helped me cut these stones and that random dude was my son. When everything was cutt (like 10 rocks) he asked me what i was building, so as an buildoholic my quick reaction was an utterly useless hospital.
My genius son said we should make a church so we started to haul everything.

When the farms had a water/dirt crisis i was building and when the walls were done my son left me. For all i know he was just talking about this church and the religion while i made the floors. (Wooden floor with one tile of stone in upper middle serving as a praying/offering place.)

When the tempel/church was done there were 4 people just spamming praying and religous words (haummmmm). But i spent 35 ish years to make that tempel so i was old so i wished only for the graveyard to be tended and that i have a tombstone.

Before i died there were a lot of prayers going the the suicidal babies and seeking a prophet. I can only hope the best of this religion but i am pretty sure it probally made more conflicts than it helped.
