Yes, there are toxic people in this game. But there are also kind and caring people like you who write stories to warm our hearts. I think it's good that you cared for your son and it definitely wasn't that wasteful. You never know when he might have returned. I really don't think it was anyone's fault, except yours, if you relied on a berry on the floor to survive, especially if you had a backpack to keep it safe. Just maybe don't depend on food left unattended on the ground? Or communicate instead of expecting the world to know this is YOUR berry as if property was even a manageable thing in this game?
