I am in favor of scrapping the bonus points idea. This is about giving us ways to affect griefers in a way that they can't escape after their life with us. It is not about rewarding players for being decent human beings. Every person should be trustable, which means there should not be tiers of people: the normal ones, and the good angels above.

I feel like it's selfish to make clothes for yourself in the first place. How do you know she didn't have the same idea as you?
Just hide "your" stuff if you really want to keep it. But this game clearly isn't about every person having a property. After all, we all die sooner or later, so focusing on getting personal property is a bit ridiculous.

lol Lum, i was worried that he was gonna grief. Ive seen people sit outside town before with a bowl of berries and after they finish it they come into town and kill everyone.

Sure, but that's no justification. You don't stab someone that hasn't done anything bad yet. Especially if your only reason is prejudice. (Btw this isn't a big deal at all no worries, just wanted to explain what I'm thinking)

Wouldn't that be just a bit of an ugly aesthetic? Colorful speech bubbles in such a sober, natural world? Kinda makes me think of Habbo.

You madman. Do you want to ruin the rose industry? No more snow equals no more beautiful roses in towns!

Wait. "If we could only make a belt like we do for aprons" I don't get why you would need a belt if the apron is already a solution for storing a knife individually

You can't pick up the bowl if there are pads in it as far as I know

Picking cactus fruit is my kink
I just love picking it, knowing that it will accumulate over time to make an unstoppable food ressource
It's so shiny and tasty and valuable
Definitely my favorite food in the game, actually

Being gay and being associated with feminine traits is very different. Don't say stupid stuff like that lol.

I've lived in that town before and tried to look for the key behind the nearby trees. It's basically ungriefable and I agree that it kinds sucks.

Now of course, I got that it's a popular "joke"/meme you say on the Internet to sound offensive, but come on guys

I'm sorry but the best girl is the original dark skinned ponytail girl. She is cute and perfect and the nicest of them all.

The boys aren't cute enough.

I appreciated reading this. Sorry for not being here for you when you came back to our little town. My death was quite tragic, as I was shot by a member of the other branch of the West family.

This was a very good story though!

Totally agree about the trees.
How do you destroy forge though? I've been saying for ages we need a sledgehammer or something to break them down.

You just use a pickaxe...

The tutorial was very fun, I think it will be super helpful for newcomers. I even chuckled a little bit at the very last order you're given (hisss)

Pretty cool, but if you end up disabled on your first ever life you're gonna be really confused. Maybe it should be a lesser percentage? I know that wouldn't be true to real life but for the sake of the game.

Also I'm not sure everyone will take kindly to you saying having dwarfism makes one look silly tongue

#293 Re: Main Forum » N/A » 2018-06-29 06:46:42

Lum

Tldr;anything you already ate is meh and eating it again will break your bonus
Anything you haven't eaten in this chain yet is yum and will add +1 to your bonus aka your food pips get higher. In an advanced civ I got to +11 by eating all the foods available, popcorn, omelette, taco, stew, berry, bowl of berries, carrot, burdock, cactus, onion, pies...
It gets pretty buff as you can run around for very long times when your bonus is active

Which is why Jason should maybe organize some testing days from time to time where we all get thrown in a testing server with new, uncertain features to try out for him so he knows if they could be implemented or not

#295 Re: Main Forum » Give birth to the killer of your people » 2018-06-28 07:47:08

Karma is ok as long as it's just a way of measuring the amount of reports one got. The longer you go without any, the more your karma goes back up to normal. Wouldn't that deal with disruptors like these rape roleplayers you talk about? In a way that wouldn't reward the good guys for being decent people, just punish the bad guys for being disrespectful

#296 Re: Main Forum » What's the most advanced society you've lived in? » 2018-06-27 21:04:54

Lum

Yeah basically any city before the updates. They were all pretty buff and overpowered. There was one with a monument and a tombstone under it next to a house with rose bushes. Oppulence.

Also can we include the 200 gen run town? Complete with its "piome" literally a desert full of pies

I think it's nice that you thought about consent for the Adams/males if they don't want to be the father of some random kid

#298 Re: Main Forum » A bell rang » 2018-06-25 07:18:06

If we all collectively decided that upon hearing a bell, we should all always follow it, then maybe towns would get bigger, people would meet, etc...

I was born to Eve Ding. She named me Adam, and then my sister was born. My sister and I tried to talk to our Ma but had communication issues, but Ma had given me a tour when I was a BB and I told my sister that there was water and soil. It was a good spot! I showed her the water, and then we got to work. Mostly Sis worked, and I would feed her wild carrots and berries.

Then when Sis finished making bowls, I started farming and made a gooseberry farm.

Our younger sister, Skyelynn, also found us and she was very helpful and a great hunter. The three of us made Ding Village.

I've never actually helped start a civilization from scratch and it was amazing that in forty mins,  the place went from nothing to a bustling. I think I'm going to upgrade myself from newb to beginner intermediate ;-)

Hey Adam,

I was your sister Liz who you helped so much to make our little settlement possible!

It honestly couldn't have gone any better, and soon enough the camp was brimming with life. Wasn't that awesome? I've never been this successful.

One of my daughters, Kali, kept insulting us, claiming she was saving us and leaving her boys to die. I still suspect that was pein. (By the way, when I say insulting, I mean calling us the N and F words)

However I am proud of all other members of the Ding Family who helped give this town a good kickstart
I truly hope people will be able to survive and expand it

And especially thank you brother Adam and sister Sky, you were hard workers, kind people and fun to play with!

is nice and all but was a waste of resources on them

i seen a backpack changing owner 5 times
i guess people just want to heal no matter what

i really think i need a least a closed box to store my stuff cause i hate working for lazy bastards who roleplay all the time

the berry farm went all dry and nobody picked carrots, so i had hard time fixing town, i would actually let all of them die when i make berry bowls since i was kid and then they use the fleece over and over without feeding sheep

Why do you have to power game so much my dude. You feel like your getting fucked over because you are. You are mad because your constantly working while we're having fun roleplaying.

FYI I was berry farmer for most of my time apart from my last few years, Stop acting like your sole savior in every town. Get your head out of your ass pein, Just because you don't enjoy the game dosn't mean we can't.

I will keep roleplaying because otherwise every life will be the same and I'll become as bitter as you.

yes i am, cause like 2 of us fixing things after people making useless drama
i am mad cause they letting people live who dont deserve it, then dooming a whole generation
like last time when you do something then you decide to kill somebody who calmed down already? i dont liek to do it always and dont have to do it always but then nobody does it

Just keep in mind that nobody is asking you to "fix things". As they said, you're not some kind of benevolent hero who goes around saving towns, you are just a bitter, lost person who doesn't get where the fun of the game really is. How haven't you gotten bored out of your mind if all you do is care for yourself and your stuff rather than other people (and their life, which to you is worthless apparently)
