Removing bear caves

Bear caves are, currently, impossible to remove.

But what if they could be?

What if when you used a pickaxe on it, the bear cave would turn into a pile of cut stones and firewood?

This would be useful in removing unwanted caves that could be used to grief.

Re: Removing bear caves

And if the cave is still occupied ...  BAM ... angry bear in your face!

I would make it a three-step process.   Each smack costs hungry work and generates one of those big boulders.   Last one collapses the cave and gives you wood from the pine tree.

Bear caves could become a useful resource for builders who need more rocks.

Re: Removing bear caves

I had an eve camp with one bear cave extremely close. Like the campfire was practically outside the cave. A property fence without a gate works really well as a work around.

Berry bushes are weeds, tear them up, set them on fire. Corn is the food of the gods.

Actually just putting gates in front of the first tile works the best due to the auto inheritance function.

Re: Removing bear caves

Do bear caves keep generating bears?   I thought they were changed to only have one bear.

Oh that's a good idea, i assume even if the gate is open then the bear can't pass through?

Waking up bears and killing them is probably faster and surely safer than making gates.
There's only one bear per cave.

Re: Removing bear caves

It would be nice to be able to remove them and get resources from them though!
