I was Herry Times, I wanted to spend my life making glass, and paper, but then Bobo came, of course with the new system he was always in the village waiting for the leader to die so he could take her place, and once he did, he destroyed the villige, going to a person and claiming "Griefer" then exiling and killing them, of course one person was expectable but then bla Times (bobo at the time), pointed out another person and killed them, I noticed a pattern and told Spring Times hay somethings up, and that's when all hell broke loose and bla killed another person, and me and Spring ran for it with two baskets of mutton in our arms, we make a small camp and I eventually decide to return to town (I was a male and Spring a femal) to see if Bla Times had died, of cource she was still alive but I exited and reented the town multiply times, and on one of these trips Bla Times saw me and exiled me so she could kill me, but I ran and I ran, Bobo followed me by hoarse so he needed a second to get his knife, giving me time again and again to escape him, I ran the opposite direction from our camp, and on one of the times Bobo was chasing me with his knife I backtracked and lost him in the woods, but then I got attacked by a bear, and was only able to make it back to town before I died, but I do have hope that these actions saved the Times family

I thought something like this would happen eventually. The exile then solo kill repeatedly. Ty for your story.

All you would need to do under this new system would be to follow spring times and get spring to un follow Bla times (bobo).
Bobo would then need a posse of two to kill one of you while you gather more supporters increasing the posse size needed to kill one of you.

I'm fairly sure the lion's share of times kills are attributed to 'bobo' they are mere copy cat edgelords seeking attention in a video gme that they lack outside of it. To be honest i strongly suspect he is one himself. So what did this 'fix' actually fix?

Bobo has a YouTube channel that he posts things on. The killing since the latest update, perhaps, but much else of what gets attributed to him comes from his YouTube channel these days. Sure, that could be multiple people, but it still ends up on his YouTube channel as if it's one person and his goons.

That's also why banning him makes even less. Like, it's super quick here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZrGRXWRlfjQ at 1:02, but you can see that his name in that life is 'Bruce Dora'. The public lifelog data http://publicdata.onehouronelife.com/publicLifeLogData/ can then get used to track such a person and find his hash, which is a permanent identifier across all lives on an account.

Ah, heck, I'll walk through the process here. So, we need a day for when Bruce Dora lived.

1. So, we go to the front page for family trees: http://lineage.onehouronelife.com/serve … front_page

2. We search for 'Bruce Dora', giving us this: http://lineage.onehouronelife.com/serve … id=6198055 Side note... Muhammad Ali had no quarrel with the Viet Cong, and protested the war. As far as I know, Mr. Clay only fought people who *chose* to fight him, and it wasn't to the death.

3. Alright, so we look up the names page here: http://publicdata.onehouronelife.com/pu … _names.txt and search for 'Bruce Dora'. Bruce Dora has a tag of 2972457.

4. We then go to the corresponding txt file and search for 2972457. The string of numerals and letters immediately after that number is the hash for that account, in this case: 502f691ae1bce74159ef5c6570d1c628cba57fa1

So, the account could get banned, from a server or an area, from that hash.

It also wouldn't surprise if multiple accounts of Bobo could get banned from the information supplied in his videos and using the above suggested process.

Honestly, i think the currnt posse system is flawed in many ways, hard to repair...
It can be used to form posses and mass murder, since you are faster then the victims. its quite complex to use, so organized attackers are in advantage.
there is no real skill fight anymore, its just to get the biggest posse, who again benefits the organized attackers.

its still super hard to get rid of griefers.

I outlined here an alternative that would go back to the basics, killing would be quite hard, but at least you could make griefers run away ... or as alway the other way round, but at least you are not dead):
