Any subjective takes on Eve baby overload after this update?

The numbers were dramatically tweaked this week before the update.  There should be 2x more Eves that last time, and way less overload.

Has that been the case?

Anyone here play as Eve?  Did it feel better and more manageable?

Can you link me to some early Eve family trees?

I played as eve yesterday.
I had two kids and it was a fairly good eve run.

Re: Any subjective takes on Eve baby overload after this update?

A few days ago I played as Eve. Got two daughters, one of which was a newbie and died. And although my other daughter stayed at home and kept her yum and stayed near fire almost all the time, she got only two SIDs. Our family was done before it even started well (fun fact: that was my 5th time playing an Eve and fifth failure. I'm not upset I just thought this was intereting).

My fam tree:

Re: Any subjective takes on Eve baby overload after this update?

I played as an Eve a few days ago, my fam tree: http://lineage.onehouronelife.com/serve … id=6191216

A big problem I noticed is that I didn't spawn in an untouched wilderness, I spawned in an area devoid of any wild food. The number of babies was manageable, but I had to let some of them die as there was simply no food. I spawned in and I had to run in a random direction (SW) for two and a half minutes before I encountered my first bit of food while I had a zero pips, a wild berry bush with one berry remaining. A few seconds more and I would have died.

Soon after that I encountered a big town inhabited by the Tears family, they let me have some of their stuff and I created a new town directly south of them. My family survived 38 generations but the town I founded laster more than that, as the Poppy family moved in after the Boners died.

None of the examples mentioned so far happened since the latest update.

Re: Any subjective takes on Eve baby overload after this update?

Since I had to reset the server again last light (to fix that new client-side infinite loop, triggered by non-valid leadership trees generated by the server), I was able to jump in as Eve myself last night, and it felt fine to me.

Hoping for more accounts.

I found these Eves from last night myself in the family tree db:

2 BB:

8 BB (7 survived past infancy):
http://lineage.onehouronelife.com/serve … id=6202251

3 BB:
http://lineage.onehouronelife.com/serve … id=6202327

6 BB (all survived well into adulthood, and 5 into old age):
http://lineage.onehouronelife.com/serve … id=6202271

So it doesn't look like those Eves had huge hits to their gene scores, at least.

I think there was also only about 40 people playing during the restart last night.
