Re: .

I find it weird that we store pies on their sides like paper files in a cabinet.
Maybe pies could be put into paper boxes, and stacked vertically like plates and be stored on tables?
Table could hold a 3 stacks of 6 pies? For total of 18 pies, and each stack could be carrot, berry, mutton, or of any variety.
The bakery could take on a new meaning, as stacks and stacks of all sorts of delectable goods, accumulate there.
And maybe soups could be canned, and cans stored in big stacks, like displays, at grocery stores.

A beautiful food storage scenario that would make revisiting towns that were less successful for other reasons, like hiding behind the toilet paper rolls during the day, as a kid, and popping out while the store is closed at night and having everything to yourself.

But of course, it doesn't last for you, for a similar reason it didn't last for them.

It didn't rain.

Silos that store 10 to 100 of a type, of different food items, would be great.
Check in on a town, and it has 40 carrots, 60 onions, 70 wheat, but only 8 potatoes, welp, better do something about avoiding that potato shortage right around the corner.

Re: .

Dried beans are always a problem, rather than better storage, I'd actually prefer he change when or how they turned dry. Such as, while still attached to the bean stalk, beans should always be green and eatable. You could immediately pick one and eat it. Similar to corn drying, only AFTER the bean is picked and sits around for a long while should it turn dried.

Re: .

Speaking of beans, with the current version of the game, I find it strange that you have to pick dry beans individually from the bean plant, but you can only pick green beans with a bowl. I think it would be better if you could click the dry bean plant with a bowl to get a bowl full of dry beans. Also remove the ability to pick a single dry bean from the plant, because those things get everywhere (but allow pulling them from bowls, in case you need to consolidate beans to free up bowls or mash beans). This would decrease random individual dry bean clutter. Also, the ability to plant beans directly from the bowl would be nice.

I ask a lot of questions. Thanks for answering them!

Re: .

You're right about to the dried beans, man.
But to be honest, friends, I'm quite reluctant to post anything on github.

I think the less there is on github, the sooner we get new content. Right ?

Re: .

Nah, when the Github is empty, that means OHOL is complete.    No more updates necessary - the game has reached a perfect state.    Adding more content at that point would only make it worse.

well never be able to picked dried beens with a bowl, because, Jason wants to simulated the picking/harvesting process  of doing everything one at a time, and the only reason Green been can be picked by bowl is because he made a mistake when making the green bean plants, and made them all the same sprite, so he instead having to do it all over again he just made it harvestable by bowl,

Yeah, I really hope that I'm not right about that one.    I desperately desire more content, but I'm not feeling very hopeful about our odds of getting what we need any time soon.

All I see in our immediate future is nerf-nerf-nerf.
