Remember that time that Jason starved us for an hour?

I shoulda took it as a warning, but JEEZ I'mgetting whooped. its incredibly hostile to leave the small village to hunt rabbits. late game i admit the food nerf wasn't terrible but jeez man I'm just starving constantly xD still love the game but I almost wanna wait until the towns get slightly more advanced. I used to love the challenge that eve villages posed, but this is just frustrating. no hate to Jason but what have we done to anger the gods?? I vote we sacrifice Spoonwood into the nearest volcano and pray Jason hears our cries

I say eyyyyyyy constantly <3

There would be plenty of food if towns didn't keep all babies at early town stages. In my last life there were about 15 people running in our town. Most of them ofc noobs that only eat things.
Communication is hard in this game... People rarery try to tell others what to do.

Food nerfs aren't an issue.

I remember the days when every kid was important because we had so few of them (because no baby distribution system back then, also more families and always a chance to spawn as eve). We had only a few kids in early town stages, so it was pretty much chilling job to start a town compared to insane hardcore that we have now with so many people.

This is because wild berry bushes don't respawn, right?

I've noticed an interesting custom, where people leave 1 berry left on each bush in the wild.

I guess this berry is left "for emergency use only."

Empty wild berry bushes respawn 1 berry after 10minutes, no need to water them. That's why you've seen 1 berry on each bush.

Yeah, I thought it might be that.... that's a bug!

Would be nicer if it was people's selfless humanity shining through, though.

even then, when i wander into the wilderness I make it a point to never eat ALL the wild food available, should I or another player come to the situation where they run out of food. Nothing worse than dying next to an empty berry bush

Re: Remember that time that Jason starved us for an hour?

The nerf of wild food was bad. It doesn't affect much in the late game so it is pointless in the late game. In the early game, it makes EVE camp and low tech town even harder and less fun. No more eggs in goose ponds no more wild berries is also unlogical. Goose in the wild keep lay eggs, plans in the wild keep growth.
The game is already very complicated and Jason wants us to "caring " for newbies while we starving and no fun at all.
And don't even mention iron-limited update.

According to Jason's calculations, we should be entering maximum fun time soon.    I hope we are ready for it.
