Anyone that does rush to kerosene in a day, should just quit. Let new players discover the tech tree among each other.
If you are capable of that, and still want to play, you should probably just be teaching, not doing it for other people and riding into an Eve village with a horse cart of bottles, filled with sulfur and palm oil... that's what really makes the game uninteresting; looting towns for the sake of someone on Discord that just spawned as an Eve.

Play the way you want to, where you want to.
Work on what you want, wherever it is in the world, as far as your knowledge allows you to get to it.
If you want to be a mom starting a new life at a fresh well, go out and find it.
If you don't want to be a baby born to a mom starting a new life, then /die if you want.
If you don't want to be a baby born to a mom starting a new life, but you don't want to /die. then wait till you are old enough to make the journey.

Just play where you want,
play the way you want,
every time you get the chance.

Let's all commit to this mentality, this, philosophy, of gameplay, and see where it leads.

If it pushes us ten thousand meters away from these homes we've been around for days, so be it.

Don't feel obliged, to farm, or make oil wells, or engines if you don't want to, do it because you want to.
Care for each because you want to, not because you feel you have to.
