What Might a Water Griefer Do?

A water griefer might first bring baskets of adobe to town (adobe gets made by combining clay with tule reeds or clay with straw). If someone asks a water griefer what they want to do with the adobe, a water griefer might claim that they want to build a house, or wants people to build buildings.

A water griefer might throw a bucket of water into a newcomen multipurpose engine, then charcoal, and light up the engine.

A water griefer might also move buckets of water out of town one by one.

A water griefer might leave stakes around the well or pump and then build full adobe walls there.

A water griefer might take the smithing hammer(s) and mining pick(s) out of town. Perhaps even taking the mining pick on a cart with baskets in it.

A water griefer might use a mining pick on a kiln.

A water griefer might take a cart with empty buckets on it, or even only a single bucket on it out of town.

A water griefer might dig up a natural spring in the badlands/mountain/rocky/grey biome.

I think you've assumed that playerkiller type griefers are likely to morph into water griefers. I'm not so sure that's likely Destiny.

Making a guide to water-griefing is a bad idea, Spoonwood. Someone will read this thread and think, "WOW! I am definitely doing that in my next village."

Also, could you or your townsfolk walk to another location where water sources wouldn't have gotten wasted or blocked off?

Or could you unblock blocked off water sources without too much trouble?

I haven't played on bigserver2 since July, and tried to log on once during an update period. I've said this in other places also. I don't have any intention of playing on bs2 in the future. I don't recall ever doing any water griefing in the large population context.

I've never done any water griefing in low pop towns also.

And then another water griefer, or the same water griefer might build adobe walls or plaster walls around that cistern, making even more water inaccessible. Especially if the cistern is full or has a few buckets of water in it.
