We only have 2 villages right?
We are also so spread that it is impossible to find another race. Right?
Eves spawn and their camps die, meaning that eves will be spawning soon too far from the 2 main families or any other camp.

You need to go back to rift. Change the rift to island, water on the borders, each island with different shape. Many resources. So you can form towns. Distribute players into few islands to avoid the babypocalypse on one.

no i dont think so i tracked 2 k to the east as a tan and found a civ of black ppl then i started having tons of new kids and my fam almost killed of the black fam because all they could do is berry munching and i coudnt really do annything cus of the huge amount of babies i ended up making a bunch of pie tho i kinda feel bad because of what happened even tho i coudnt really help it T.T

It is nearly impossible to make rubber. The solution in my opinion, Every ginger town Im born to I go make a bell and then start a tower base. If I ever get born to a black family I will try to get a horse for myself an travel around and deliver maps to my "black family" village. What I think needs to happen is the rift return but maybe twice as big 2000 by 2000 I would say. The map needs to be limited with these biome restrictions now.

If the only way to make this update work is a return to the rift ... I don't want to keep family specilizations. It is a broken concept. It means we must always have connection with at least two families of the correct race. With only five or six families on the whole server, that means we will all end up lumped together in one or two mega cities. End game tech will be difficult to make, but not in a good "challenging" kind of way. Just frustrating and restricted by a game that limits your options based on your skin tone.

Does anyone actually want that?

To me it's the worst update ever and I really hope it will be gone.
Interacting with other families to get some benefits may be cool, but it should be optional and not neccesity.
And definitely not in a way that it is right now with specialist biomes. Make all biomes accessible for everyone pls.

No the rift had MANY of it's own problems and that would only be made worse with this new update. We just need a way for families to find each other. Bell towers take too long, and families die out before they can even build half of it.

The rift is not a solution to anything. More Eve's need to spawn. That's the end all solution.

I think Jason will try to force us to trade, so this update won't be cancelled. Without navigation we can't do shit, bell towers can't be build before running out of water. I'm waiting for this waystone or something.

It's 10 hours for the base to stabilize now and 3 hours for each additional stage. So, a belltower needs, at theoretical minimum, 25 hours to complete.
