Well well well....

Seems like the counter on wells doesn't reset when the arc resets.

So this new arc, you were only able to build one well.

Gotta fix that ASAP, obviously, and there's going to be a wipe.

I'm also going to change the way the well placement works, to avoid the "all wells in the west" thing that happened last arc.

There will still be a limit of 6 wells, but they will need to be 160 apart instead of just 80 apart.  So one player can't cluster them all together.

Wouldn't it make more sense if making a well would dry a consistent number of springs around the well?, so no matter the radius it couldn't be possible to make all the wells at a certain place while still having control over the number of total wells.

How are things going for the other families tho? Is the situation so dire that we need the reset? Maybe just let it run for a day or so and see where it leads us?

Just had a life outside the well town and we had no well but had a cistern full of water. Managed to get sheep, make a couple carts and a horse.

It wouldn't be sustainable and I foraged most of the materials sure (mostly wild milkweed) but how fast until things completely run out in the operational area of those non well towns?

Instead of a reset, there were some miracles performed.

There are now something like 4 or 5 wells on the map, with families tending them.

6 wells means only 6 families can live on it's own. You should make about 15 wells and lower the amount of water we get from 3rd level well (newcomen pump). This would give us more things to do.

Limit still probably not enough. 5/6 wells were again made solo and the 6th was made by someone else. Only reason I think the last one squeaked in was due to a few mistakes made in the smithing/walking sections of the speedrun. Again, this takes about 30 minutes to get them all done and costs 7 skill slots as of currently.

Man you really are something for making the dev console with the name Voice of God. Thanks for stepping in and adjusting without needing to reset things. Hope this number is tweaked accordingly. Its not often that people will try and branch off and make a new town, don't want to seem them overly limited.

I agree that the limit is not enough both in terms of skill slot and well radius
