Elders?

What things can only elders do? I'm mainly wondering about fences.

Re: Elders?

Elders (Age 55-60) can currently:

Authorize removal of property fence past the shaky stage:
https://onetech.info/3125-Elder-Removal-Receipt

They can make notes invincible from rubber ball deletion
https://onetech.info/3139-Elder-Quill-Ink-Pen

They can declare WAR and PEACE between two different families.

They can’t use war swords
https://onetech.info/3047-War-Sword-oth … ckupAge_55

I think that’s about all the activities currently exclusive to elders.

Re: Elders?

So if a removal of property fence is posted, does it make all attached fences removable? Can someone describe the process?

It seems to work like this:

- Place paper on fence
- Someone signs with pencil
- Elder signs with pencil

Repeat with each fence.

It’s a bit of a long process. If you plan on removing multiple fences I recommend making multiple papers, because once the removal notice has been placed it takes 10 mins to decay away. So yes one removal notice only takes down one fence.

Also anyone can come by at any time and hit that fence with a rock and then all your efforts are wasted. You even lose the paper used for the notice. Imo it’s not worth doing, since it’s so easy to grief.

Sigmen, in the video it looks as if signing the fence notice gives you a new piece of paper that can be placed on the next fence?

Oh I didn't see the video and after seeing it now it seems like I was wrong on the lost paper part. Thanks for reminding me. I was mostly speaking from the perspective of someone who's only seen how to do it through onetech, so I was bound to make a mistake at some point.

Re: Elders?

Yes, you do get a new 'paper' that you can place on another fence. It's a bit unintuitive just looking at the recipes, but once you actually do it ingame and see it in action it's fairly simple to do it again. The one thing to keep in mind is that the elder has to be the second person to sign the paper.

It looks pretty annoying to do, considering you literally have 5 minutes left in your life.
