Domestic Gooseberry Respawn

What is the domestic gooseberry respawn time? I was just at a camp (Weather) that was on the edge of starvation when i aged out because a high number of domestic gooseberries never respawned, and it was far from carrot seeds. (and of course, people weren't gathering them enough.

The food was pretty much picked out, though at least some more carrots were planted. i really want to know if they lived to see the domestic gooseberries respawn, because there were a bunch of them.

Also, harvest all of one plant at once and then harvest it so it respawns sooner! (Though of course, don't leave excess berries in baskets to age and disappear.)

Domestic gooseberry bushes need 1 hour to refill their berries.
Harvested berries disappear after 5 min.

I believe that website actually pulls all the crafting info from the current github commit, so you know it's correct and up to date.

It's just not quite up to date.

It could be that everyone was eating them as soon as one would respawn.

lies, wild berry bushes respawn 1 berry/10 mins
domestic berry bushes respawn 6 berries at once/60 mins, picking a berry resets the timer

wild berries despawn after 5 mins, if left unattended, moving them resets the timer
domestic berries never despawn

only vigorous berry bushes respawn berries
languishing berry bushes need watering before respawning berries

knowing that, it makes it useful to continually plant them so if the line survives the hour they have continuous food.

Well if you plant a new bush, the berries spawn right away. So while you will never see a domestic berry bush respawn if you pick it in your life time, you can very easily grow a new bush and eat from it.

Only wild berries disappear. Domestic berries never disappear. Berry is the superior food source and our diet should be primarily berry. Make the switch today!
