Something Once Beautiful in the Game Now Rendered Impossible By Rifts

The old server12, the one that lasted from November until the sword wipe, had a road which from left to right stretched over 6k (it was over 10,000 tiles in total I feel rather sure in claiming since it extended from north to south also).  It had over a dozen of connected towns, which came as possible, because people who were not griefing, could get reborn into the same spot.  And because griefing was low.  That and the quality of players was high.  Even some people who appeared to have weakness in certain aspects often would exceed others in creativity easily.

The size of what such a project evolved into (and it was STILL growing at the time of the wipe, with new towns springing up) just isn't compatible with the rift system.  And swords and war, which just happens for its own sake in this game, never fit with the idea either.

Oh, and nature even looked better as resources were abundant for a bit, as they should have been, and should be in the future (the period between the pump overhaul and the come together disaster).
