The apocalypse condition is this:
--No baby lives past age 15 for one solid hour.
This is supposed to happen when vital resources like oil and iron exhaust.
These resources exhausting will keep any town from prospering, but it doesn't stop any random person from living to 15. Somebody will always be able to live to 15 because of the infinite food sources that exist. Mainly wild berry bushes and to a lesser extent cacti. And maybe even ponds since they regenerate water.
These infinite sources are slow enough to prevent towns existing solely on them but just one person needs to live to 15 each hour to prevent the apocalypse and they'll be enough for that. And so the game may get stuck on a resource-exhausted map.

Yes, we will see what happens!
I can adjust that setting without restarting the servers. So I could change it to 30 or 40 instead of 15.

I rather have reaching elderly age as the criterion, as a measure that the world got too harsh to support a good long life.

Fifteen's fine right now because the sheer amount of players in a 500 square eats all the food in two seconds. I've seen one person die at 12, and that was the oldest non-eve person I've seen so far. Help.
You have now laid eyes upon the one and only Raidan Allcock on the leaderboards.

you just rait till total server population goes down to a max of 20 players, like its on "you are hope" mobile port most of the time.
with total server population of 6 at some hours, its almost possible that no baby reaches age 16, especially when ALL bananas are plucked.
