To my big sister Roaa Qin
That sure was an interesting life. I was born to our mother Ann Qin young and confused as she said you two were exploring. I ran with it as mom carried me across the wilds with you in the lead. Eventually I grew old enough to take care of myself. You were bitten by mosquitos in the middle of jungle, but mom and I fed you at least one and a half tree worth of bananas to keep you alive. In pursuit of a thriving town we found some very old ruins (only roads and ancient walls remained). We made it our meeting point as we all spread in search of a town. I lost track of you in the wilds at one point and was about to give up until I found you back at the meeting point. You were growing older so we decided to settle at the meeting point. Fate would not be kind to us however as you didn’t birth a staying girl. You did give birth to Tommy however but he starved himself as soon as all hope was lost. Before this mom had died peacefully of old age in our not-to-be settlement.
As there was no hope for this settlement you and me as the last of us headed out. I was wearing the clothes and backpack mom had worn as well as a seal skin I acquired myself, and you were wearing your signature apron. Along the way I shared my food with you as I stockpiled more food for the road. I lead the party toward a bell 2k away. Everything went smoothly until tragedy struck. You were first stung by mosquitoes. I wasn’t worried at first about that because I had handled that before but then...
You stood on a lonely swamp tile in the jungle and then an opportunistic boar took its chance and gored you. We had to painfully as there was nothing I could do about your boat cut. You died as I promised you that I would find civilization. I was closing in on the bell at the age of 55 and managed to actually talk to the people living there. Due to the war sword and such I was worried that I might get killed uttpon entering the town, but was pleasantly surprised as the locals were quite friendly. I couldn’t understand them of course but we did share plenty of positive emotes. In the end I dedicated my last words to you.
Your younger brother Neil Qin

just walking northeast into the unknown for up to 4k distance is a valuable strategy right now
, but only when born as female, and walking away at a young age (you have long distances tro cover)
, but only if you disregard being a hipster for a high gene score, because a lot of babies will just do infant suicide, even if your family has 30 fertiles, you can tell, these people are likely less experienced and no loss to your game, except they are a loss to your sillyness-rating.
, but only if your family has significantly more afult fertiles than young fertiles, then theres sopme obvious incompetence in your parents AND a chance to recoup it (by them and by you likely making a colony), with your disengagement from the family.
northwest is only slightly worsew than northeast, in terms of chances of finding something of value.
blindly migrating northwest is slightly worse than northeast right now, due to how and where eves currently spawn, and spawned before.

He pretty much summed it up: if you are going to migrate to find towns, your best bet is going northeast.
He also expressed disdain for the genetic fitness update.
