Re: Wondering if anyone ever played in my Gens

Yes, seems like I have had one life in a Ziv lineage.

This one made it to gen 36. I was gen 19.
It was a town running out of water. I had a mother who knew how to get the engine, and I hoped she'd teach me, so we could do it together. She helped me get started, but I constantly kept forgetting what parts and how many I needed. Iron was low too. Farms and food situation was still good, but people probably had to travel far to fill buckets.
I spent my life basically parked in the smithy. I would carefully try to make the right parts and not waste buckets of water in the process. I'd occasionally sacrifice steel for some tools when someone requested for some. I managed to figure out some engine parts in my life, and left them neatly arranged for someone else to possibly, hopefully finish. In my last moments I hauled bucketfuls of pond water to the smithy's cistern to help the next guy get started in making the last engine parts. I got too old to do anything else, so I never got to haul in more iron ore or make extra coal to ease the future generations' workload.

I worked alone basically my whole life. My mom and sis were running around the place and I never got to know the surroundings, although it seemed to be a well-placed town. I had no idea what was going on in the village though, it seemed to be okay, no drama. For my last words I said I hoped someone would finish the engine, worrying that the water situation is going to end it all, wasting my pitiful efforts of tech help.
