Starting Game

After you download the extractor and let it's do its thing, what do you do?
If I try to open it from the zip file it says to move it to a no read only file.
When I try to open it from the exe file its just a black screen.
Sometimes it lets me log in then says that the SDL.ddl is missing- but that is in the file.
I've uninstalled it and reinstalled a few times with all the same happening.
Feel very stupid and frustrated.

You're using Windows 10?

Re: Starting Game

I have no idea if this will help but the first time I ran the game I had to run it as administrator for it to update and patch or something. Though it wasn't a problem after that. So maybe try running as admin.

Re: Starting Game

If you're running Win10, I suggest reinstalling once more, install to documents, then move the file to either Downloads or your Desktop. It's a common problem, happens to me every time I reinstall, I've noticed that it switches up as well, sometimes the game will run in my Program Files, sometimes it won't. Probably depends on the version of the game or something. Anyway, hope this helps. The game is worth the effort.

Re: Starting Game

Yes, make sure you right click the .exe and make sure it is set to administrator (so it can be overwritten)

Re: Starting Game

Thank you all for your suggestions, but none of it seems to work for me.
Honestly have no clue why it's being this difficult.
I am on a Aspire VX and Windows 10.
Maybe my computer is just garbage lol
