Sorry if you just hadn't gotten to it yet, but the wooden slot box has a serious problem.
It is not moveable, not deconstructable/transformable, and blocks walking. All together means it can be used nefariously to block space and particularly to block doorways/gates.
The regular box doesn't have this problem since you can make it into a wooden sledge and then move it if it was in a bad place. And even adze the sledge to turn it back into a box.

Ahhh, so that's what the other guy was referring to. I thought was asking to be able to turn a slot box back into a box. Yep, this might be a problem.
