Miko Gold II

When we were babes

I fell in love

To a pretty girl named Miko

I gave her my sheep skin

And we became friends

Our town was full of murder

And I swore to protect you

I planted a rose bush for you, my love

And gave you one of the beautiful roses

But you didn't seem to love me in the way I did

Then something terrible happened

I saw your bones resting on the ground

I was so very, very sad

And I picked up the green hat I gave you and put it on my head

To always remember you

And I picked you up and resting your bones by the rose bush I planted for you

And I planted another one by your buried grave

I spent a lot of my life getting cut stones and making stone floors

And I wrote a note and placed it on your grave

And I died happily by your grave, happy to be able to be with you once again.

Re: Miko Gold II

I appreciated you looking after me, I might have got murdered if not for your protection, like my Mom.

You were very kind and sweet, it was heartwarming.

I was lucky to hear some of your family speak when I was born so I could understand mostly.

I tried to give you some Rabbit shoes for your bare feet, but I don't think you understood.

My favorite was when I was asking you a question in the garden after you had been protecting me,

you told me you didn't "unzzuzzand" me very well, but I got the rest of the words and knew what you meant.  It was cute.

Then I fed you berries in the garden.

Unfortunately I got bit by flies while I was showing our daughter the village.

I felt really sad that I didn't get to tell you what happened and say bye before I passed, and worried that I just left you wondering

I was left hoping our daughter would tell you.  I'm glad you know now, and glad to see she survived and went on to produce many generations.

Thank you for burying me so thoughtfully.

With love,

Miko
