Should the fertility system be removed/changed ?

I don't think there's a huge problem with lots of Eves, as long as they're not bothering other people.  They are competing with everyone else for babies, but so what?  Villages should have a huge advantage there, because of warmth and YUM.  Villages have a disadvantage because of lineage area ban.

There is a SIDs annoyance factor.  For these 33% of players who rely on SIDs, I have an idea about how to make it work.  I'll post that idea in another thread.

Since the bigger villages keep dying there is definitly a balance issue.

Also the current system makes it so you have to stay by the fire if you really want kids which is really limiting.

I dont see any other way to change the fertility system except, marriage and adding Adam to the game and you would need to marry someone from another family to get kids, then fertility would be equal between all married ones.

But that seems like a drastic change and even if it would make interaction between villages have another purpose im not too sure about this one, could be good or not, what do you think?

Simplest solution would be to make everyone equal in terms of fertility, yum and temperature are good on their own without needing to affect fertility too, as a way to compete for kids, i dont know.

But currently there is definitly something making bigger towns die out and counting on the ban to balance the advantage on YUM that big villages have doesn't seem to work.

Current ban makes big villages die out eventually.
