The other town wars

How do you begin wars if the town are so far apart?

Yeah, the springs now limit advanced towns to be close and more direct, but even that, the town are so far apart.

I would like a diagram on how to find the nearest town etc.

I'm not planning to start wars (Unless you tick me off), but I just want to know, how to you find other town with the spring update?

Re: The other town wars

I'd still like a straight shaft with a plank to put a post which I could point to 8 directions, adding paper saying stuff. Ofc can be cut down with axe.
Main problem now is not many will know what's where (paper gets lost, as does oral info). Even when I try to tell stuff in nursery it gets lost very fast/just none of those three kids care about that stuff. Usually I spend 10 years just to check what's nearby.

Yeah towns are still too far apart, not sure how the current algorithm works but i suspect it goes to infinity and villages end up being to far apart after a certain time.

Map probably looks like this : Village ---> Dead camp -----> Dead village ----- Another dead camp -----> Other village 1-2k away from first village.

Yeah, but you also have to take account that it's also horizontally, meaning if you would know where a village is, but you HAD to go on straight lines, it would take you like 80 tiles, which is long for walking

Re: The other town wars

80 tiles is a walk I usually take early, then 2-3 times I walk about 200 to search for something (adventure) per life. But yup, I think I am one of the few ppl that continuously drop branches from trees while going so ppl would know there's town "near-ish". If male I go further. Usually I make cart, leave with empty, bring back all baskets full, go out again unless something in town needs to be done.

IDK which to do with flat stones and stones-I usually stack two away from town and one towards. It's not like there's a rulebook or agreed-upon thing. Not going to make stuff like five paper saying town left or such.
