Maps are wiping as part of the update-hotfix that will bring towns REALLY close together...

Oh no! My eve village on server 4!   I do like the idea of having towns closer together though. I'm just going to miss coming home after a hard day of work, not wanting to be around or bothered by anyone, and working on my village peacefully!  She was turning into a nice village. I can always rebuild, I guess, but I wont have my 3 graves of Myself and my random twins (Son and daughter) that got born to me and stayed to help out.  I had came back to see my son had buried my daughter and myself side by side, so I buried him on the other side of my grave and planted a mango tree behind each of our headstones.. They were pretty awesome people!

I could have just wiped bigserver2, I suppose...

But it's too late now.

It's ok.. It's always a thrill to start a new village over again. Gives me a chance to come up with a new "Floor plan" lol

I'm such a sucker could not resist being born right after the wipe. I have never had so many damn kids. One of them was karl I'm probably all of ya'll's momma. omg. I could not even pick up a got dang branch without a kid flying out me. "pop" "pop" "pop" I think they might live though. Got some good ones I think. One of them poked the bear tho... but that didn't even matter.

I'll post the lineage link later but lets just say you need to scroll left and right and half of them are still alive.

Isn't there a cron job that does backups?  You could always restore non-bigservers in the next update right? Or does that backup other stuff.

Map databases were huge.

I decided to stop backing them up a long time ago.

So that part isn't backed up anymore.
