How paint can be fixed

Paint is too damn expensive and useless, a simple solution that will still be realistic would be to make it work like a bucket of water. You use a bowl on it to get a bowl with paint with which to paint a wall. One Bucket will be able to paint multiple walls and it will make painting more feasible

This will make painting cheaper, but how will it make it not useless?

Mabye painting simple geometric shapes/symbols and pictograms could be more usefull.
