I can't talk
I've just downloaded the recent update (v 206) and I can't talk...I press the enter key but it doesn't open the talk box. I've been born several times now and each time I'm mute...what should I do to fix this?

I also have this problem. Running the linux version on Fedora 29.

I'm on a mac. I was able to fix it by pressing the up or down arrow and then the enter key would work for the talk box afterwards. I need to do that each time I'm born in order to get access to talking.

Typing / [slash key] should work.
I’m on a Mac so sometimes this happens to me.
Whenever it does, I just turn off the Macbook and restart it while holding Command+Option+P+R until it chimes.
I don’t talk in-game unless it’s dire.
