Question about awbz mod

So i found the ini files and made some usual changes to adjust frame rate which seem to work fine with the vanilla exe,
but the +.exe that comes with awbz mod seems to bypass any changes i make to the ini files...

is there a way to get the mod to work with the ini files? or do i need to change this in a different location?

***UPDATED

It appears i might have an issue with the .ini files in general, not with the mod

I'm still troubleshooting but i know that the mod is fine

Re: Question about awbz mod

Delete/move the vanilla exe, rename the +.exe to the vanilla exe? That's what I do regardless with it, because the first time I tried playing with it, it fucked up and glitched out, and this was the first and simplest fix I found for it. No clue why.

Re: Question about awbz mod

This may be permission issues, does the user you run the client with have the necessary permissions on the ini files? (Or do those belong to root/"Administrator")

the first thing i do with these garbage windows machines is remove as much of that as i can and make my account admin, still have to run a couple things as 'admin' manually like OBS and Discord, but never had a prob with .ini's before
