I'm new to ohol and I would like to play on a noob server where your able to learn how to play. I don't really like playing on the regular version of the game and asking them to teach me, most times i feel like im just a burden to my town, so i'd like to play on a separate server until i learn how to make stuff

You can go on an empty server and try some stuff out on your own or ask on the OHOL Discord to join you and show you some stuff.
How to change the server :
- Go to settings
- Check the little square next to "use custom server" and add the server address
- Click "back" and then you are ready to go
Check this link to know what server is currently empty : http://onehouronelife.com/reflector/ser … ion=report
Hope this helps

One city server is pretty active at night time I've found: Most people seem to be using it to escape Eve hell during nocturnal infertility. So during 10PM-4AM Pacific time it's a great place to learn as it's essentially a giant sandbox.

Likes sword based eve names. Claymore, blades, sword. Never understimate the blades!

Additionally to what has been said, I'm also hosting a slightly modified practice server (modified to make practicing some stuff like smithing easier without having to worry about routine tasks)

Greep forgot to provide instructions on how to use his One City Server, so here they are: https://onehouronelife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=4868
In addition to:
Tea's suggestion to use a low-population official server
Greep's suggestion to use his One City Server
lionon's suggestion to use his practice server
I'll give you my suggestion to run your own private local server. Instructions: https://onehouronelife.com/forums/viewt … 243#p41243
So many options! Have fun!

I think part of the intention of the game is to pass knowledge down. The tutorial could be much more comprehensive - btw you can practice smithing in the tutorial as well, which is also a good eve start practice. But there are many things which you will find many players are happy to teach, as they were also once taught. It's a community game!
